While on the tour . . .

While on the Cute Chick tour, we found some other things that might be of interest to you.

These are Petrel Bird burrows. This is where the Petrel Bird nests! In the ground. Yes, we often step and the ground gives way and lo, and behold, you have caved in a Petrel Bird nest. Louis will then quickly dig it out in hopes of saving the bird. At the least, he retrieves my shoe!

These are all over the island.

This is one of the old Cable buildings. It was built during the time (early 1900's) the cable company was here. They are all falling apart, we can not go in them.

We found this speaker, cleverly hidden, out near the chapel. Apparently there is one individual bird of a particular species that needs to hear it's call. And this speaker does it!

the little chapel. So sweet. It says, "Ave Maria". One of the cute chicks is actually on the altar.

This is Officers Row. During Navy times, the officers lived here. Now, the Thai guys live here.

And then we found the Mini Golf Course!!!

It's a beaut, eh?

First, you must remove any albatross on the course.

Choose your club, grab a ball . . .

And golf!!!

The sky gave us a nice show, too.
