snorkeling on sunday

We had a lovely day of snorkeling on Sunday. We went with our new friends Suzanne (Monk Seal biologist) and Gail (Doc's wife) over to site 172 (i don't know why it's called this.

On our way over, we got to play with the Hawaiian spinner dolphins. This may be my favorite thing of all - the dolphins.

We were excited to see this young turtle.

Pam and Louis snorkeling.

Yes, we saw our first shark! Here it is with an Ulua near it's tail.

Hello!!

This Parrot fish was eating off the coral.
You could actually hear him munching!

Squirrelfish and a wrasse

an ornate butterflyfish

Louis and Suzanne identify the fish we saw.

  1. Hello Greg/Pam/Louis-

Wonderful photos (and videos!) - we saw Millie today and she's enjoying your website too. :) :)
