Fire Extinguisher class!

On Wednesday, we were scheduled to have a fire extinguisher training class. I was very excited. As I was riding my bike towards the hangar for the class, I got word the class had been cancelled! What! Apparently, there was an emergency landing needed by two F18 fighter jets!



Now, Louis was excited! One of the engines on one of the planes stopped working on their way to Honolulu and they needed to make an emergency landing. The four marines are hanging out with us while waiting for their crew to come and fix them.











Louis made fast friends with them, touring around the island, taking them snorkeling. He is hoping to get a tour (up close) of the planes.
The class did happen the next day. It was very exciting.
Louis put out his fire very quickly. We all cheered for him!!

    Hi Pam,

    Fascinating! Cool bat insignia on the rear rudder of the F-18! The variety of footwear (and apparel) is amusing! Lucky for Greg that they're flexible on the dress code! Hope Louis gets to sit in the F-18 cockpit!
